ZHAO Wenhua

  • ZHAO Wenhua is professor of higher education at School of Education, SJTU and serves as the Vice Secretary of  CPC Committee in Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His research focuses on higher education theory, higher education management, science and technology policy, and modern university strategic planning.


    For now, more than 60 articles by Prof. ZHAO have been featured in top journals in China. Not only has he led many significant projects funded by state agencies, many of his work have been granted major awards such as Exemplary Research of National Educational Studies, Science Research Achievement Award in Higher Education Institutions, etc. 


    His major books include "Higher Education Systematology" (Guilin: Guangxi Normal University Press, 2001), "System of Modern Universities: Problems and Countermeasures" (Shanghai: Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press, 2007).

    He received his B.A degree from Southeast University, an M.A degree and Ph.D in Higher Education from East China Normal University. 


    Associations: standing member of China Association of Higher Education Committee, member of Higher Education Management Committee.
