University Administrators Survey and Research SOE

On May 9, 2023, YANG Zhenbin, Secretary of the CPC SJTU Committee, came to the School of Education to investigate the work of teacher education. WANG Linyuan, Secretary of the CPC SOE Committee, briefed SOE’s work of the School in students enrollment, training and employment. Dean of SOE LIU Niancai elaborated on the opportunities and challenges faced by the School in teacher education. Faculty and administrators at the meeting made exchange speeches on students’ education and internship practice.

YANG pointed out that the School of Education carries the important mission of training future “top” teachers for China, so the school should shoulder the responsibility that "education is the first foundation", adhere to the fundamental task of establishing moral education, follow the requirements of training future top talents in basic education, and continue to implement the initiatives of talent training.
